Answer) Even if you learn several different types of Reiki, in the end only one type remains. That is the Reiki in which you last received attunement.

“When I searched online because I wanted to learn Reiki, I found that depending on the school, the name of Reiki differs, and sometimes the content taught also varies. So where should I learn Reiki?

And is it possible to study different levels with different teachers or schools?”

Thank you for your question.

Such questions are not very common, but for example, if you move to a new place, or if your Reiki teacher moves away, you might want to continue your Reiki practice with another teacher.

However, reading the content of your question, I think the main concern here is that you are about to learn Reiki for the first time and are unsure about where to study. I also looked online and indeed found that some schools teach multiple types of Reiki, or change the name midway, so there are various situations.

For example, with other hobbies, there’s nothing wrong with learning tennis, playing baseball, and swimming. But in the case of energy healing therapies, even if you learn many, in the end the only one you can actually use is the Reiki therapy in which you last received attunement.

In other words, it is not something you can skillfully switch between multiple types of Reiki in practice.

Therefore, as I mentioned in a previous article, when deciding where to study, I recommend that before actually enrolling in a class, you attend an observation or book a session to experience it, and at that time also listen to the explanation.
